CUERPO, DATA Y MEMORIA

audiovisual work / generative art / creative coding

The body, data, and memory are profoundly interconnected concepts that shape our understanding of human existence in the digital age. The body, as a physical and biological entity, serves not only as a vessel for experience and life but also as a continuous source of data. This data, collected through various means, is stored and processed to form a network that can be interpreted as a kind of memory—both individual and collective.

In this project, the artist delves into different perspectives on how the human body can be represented in the digital realm and transformed into data through movement, leaving a trace in space-time that serves as a memory of its existence.

The audiovisual installation employs generative processes and programming in its creation and was originally commissioned to be showcased in the theater  of the Alianza Francesa de Miraflores in Lima, Perú.
